About Us
Calix Books has been buying and selling antiques, books, incunabula, and ephemera in Swampscott, Massachusetts, and New England — particularly around the North Shore area — for 20 years. Over the years, led by owner and book collector Richard Gabriel, we have bought and sold many treasures and still continue to do so. The rare books, illuminated manuscripts, and ephemera we have for sale are chosen from around New England and sourced from book dealers we know around the world. We also offer full book cataloging and can give a description of the items, with appraisals available for an additional fee.
